  • 2021: UNIVERSITY PROJECT FOR CHILDREN. In 2019, within the framework of a teaching innovation project, we launched the Project “My little great UGR: childhood and University”. The University is an institution that in its general objectives is far from childhood. Its own dynamics and the essence of its activity runs centered on the university community or on its transfer and dissemination processes directed to society in general, without specifying chronological arches or, generally, cultural training of the recipients; being exceptional, if not null, the projection towards the youngest, either directly or through other groups that influence the integration of childhood in non-formal cultural processes. This distance, as a positive problem, is where we start from; after an analysis and debate held throughout the 2017/2018 academic year with students of the Degree in Early Childhood Education, families, as well as with the children themselves interested. This project in which we try to stimulate, as an informative action, the access of the children's community to the UGR, with teaching and integration objectives in the social field of the university community, through the history of the University and as the main character the figure of Charles V.
